I woke up this morning and felt.. different. there's no real way to describe it.. I am tired, feel heavy and have aches all over. I also have an incredibly strong urge to have a shower! Lol, i've had one this morning and i'm trying to stop myself from getting back in! Is this feeling normal, or is it my body trying to tell me something?

Hrmmmmm who knows. Back aches are often a sign of labour.
Hope you are prepared for it!

I felt that way from the night before Miya was born. I had a shower before bed then got up and had one about 3am then a long one in the morning(was having strong contractions by then) I had a shower again after lunch and again about 3:30pm before going into hospital then I had another one about 730pm(Miya was born at 9:29pm) and the only reason I had all these showers was just because I really wanted them, not for the back ache or anything. It was just like I was craving showers!

So if that's anything to go by maybe you should make sure your bags are packed! Goodluck!

I felt very "different" the day before i had Ayja, maybe that's what made me get out of the house and do everything i needed to do instead of sticking around at home like i had for the last week or so.

good luck maybe baby's on the way... if not, then hey - enjoy the showers, If i could stay in the shower all day i would, never get more than a 10 minute one any more.

Well, I've made it to today..I ended up having 5 showers yesterday!! Lol and we're not talking 5 minute ones either...
I wish I had a bath tub....
nothing strange has happened yet, I had rather strong Braxton Hicks yesterday, but apart from this shower craving thing, and feeling a little more 'alive' nothing's happened. Lol maybe it's just my body pretending its in labour... I still have another 2 weeks to go till bubs is due, perhaps he just wants a really clean mummy
