Why not see if one of the Welly OB mums has a portacot you can borrow? I've leant my parents one in Sydney out to OB mums before, I'm sure you'd find someone with one to borrow.

Liam & I are off to Timaru soon & I wasn't going to take the buggy down but perhaps I will??? I just *worry* that it might get damaged with other luggage chucked on top of it. We don't have the box it came in anymore...

Neeks - have crappy ancient (functional) portacot if you want to use it. Also have highchair. Welcome to it if you want. We live close by the airport.

Sally belly - yes, you can. Though I think they ask you to have baby upright for taking off/landing. I just used to feed straight afterward.
