What the - baby enemas? That sounds awful. How long has it been Sparkle since Coopers pooped?? Jett has never gone longer than a week. It actually tears me up when it goes longer than a couple of days, so I start getting serious about giving him things to make him go. Only because I'm scared stupid that it'll cause another abscess to come up. The other 2 are still pussing out. I'm also worried as he is breastfed, and I hear it's not normal for b/feed babies to be constipated.

There's nothing wrong with them.. they are a little tube and it doesn't hurt them. BUT they don't always work. I had to use them on Conor and Cooper...

My doctor has told me if they haven't gone after 3 days to have them checked.

Coloxyl drops are better.

I've only had Jett on homemade vege's since last Tuesday & he's gone #2's everyday since! Now I don't know when I should or IF I should introduce fruit back into his diet!

A friend of mines little girl had really bad constipation issues (poor wee thing, she even got piles! ouch). Her doctor said no fruit for as long as possible. She is 1 now and still has only 1 kiwifruit a day, but has been constipation free for ages.

Well, he poohed on Friday (it had been 5 days). Since then I've been giving him kiwifruit most days and yesterday started him on prune juice. And he's just done a great big poo! So I'm putting it down to the prune juice!

I just find there is so much conflicting advice (as with everything baby related!). I'll read something that says give fruit, no fruit, then another only veg, then only orange veg, then introduce green veg????? It's all soooo hard!!!!

But thanks to all of you that have offered a suggestion   Fingers crossed he's passed a big hurdle!
