ok i thought it was time for a change BUT I have gone into My profile up top and clicked Edt profile - changed the name - clicked up date and nothing happens - it doesn't change... so what am I doing wrong?

I have checked that the name I want isn't being used already... still no luck.

sometimes if the name you are trying to change to is too close to the one you have it doesnt allow it.

LOL Mel. I too have had that problem a couple times where the forum handle just doesn't change over despite entering a new one a million times. I think MelanieandBree was having this prob too.

Only thing that helped me was perseverance. Must have caught the server on a good day?

Wouldn't hurt to ask Emma maybe??

Are you changing it in the "My Profile" option in the pink section above (as opposed to the "Profile" option next to Private Messenger.

That's how I changed mine, but it was ages ago.

i had the same troubles, tried and tried and tried and TRIED! lol. nothing was working. im talking MONTHS of off and on trying.

the one time it worked i was playing around with the emailsettings aswell- changed them- so check out your email settings maybe? i will have a look soon to see what it was that i did end up doing, i just remember that it was something to do with email setting.

Ann I have heard that some people haven't been able to change their names while others can... maybe yours is just having a bad hair day I've never tried changing mine cause I love my name and am scared I won't be able to change it back!!
