Before I had my DS, I was involved in an organisation called Camp Quality. Camp Quality is a week long annual camp for children living with, or recovering from, childhood cancers.
Camp Quality is an international organisation whose philosophy is that it may not be easy to chance the quantity of life for a child with cancer, but it is easy to change the quality for them and their families.
On these camps, each child is paired with an adult companion and fun activities are provided for them for a week. Camp Quality requires donations and support to exist - there is no formal funding.
It's an amazing organisation and I have made (and lost, sadly) some incredible friends.
Camp Quality is in the running for a donation of $15,000 from Sovereign Sunshine but needs your vote. You do have to register, but this only takes a moment. Would love it if you could help Camp win the $15,000.
