Ouch! Bugg3r. My friend fractured her wrist a couple of weeks back and seems to have figured out how to do everything right handed now (she's a leftie). But she's lucky - she's childfree and in an office job so doesn't have a 2yr old to contend with!
Ro I can't say the can't cook or do washing part sounds all that upsetting to be honest It must be incredibly frustrating to not be able to lift Ella in or out of the car - or drive even though
thabks all....yeah am over my pity party a little now..doesnt help that i have my birthdaay tomorrow, a special night out planned, followed by a weekend in queenstown...all in a bl**dy cast!!! argh!!!!
its just frustrating me more than anything else!
Dh and mum are driving me around..but i hate relying on other people - i am usually mega independant!
I can sympathise... in a round about way. My DH tore the tendon off his thumb three weeks ago and he is in a cast until 1st September, and then has another removable type cast for another six weeks after that! He can't lift our two year old, or really help with any physical parenting, can't work, can't do much of anything really! So frustrating!
