Topic: First day at work... Posted: 16 June 2006 at 1:33pm |
Well only part time but still PAID! I am doing a few hours a week supervising patietns with their gym programmes and in a few weeks I start doing some weekends at Palmy hospital. Not sure if I am entirely happy about working but really need the extra dollars. Anyway just had to share...

I'm doing an hour or so on Mon, Wed and Fri's. So either Daniel will work from home that day or she will be looked after by one of her Nana's. I also have her enrolled as a casual at daycare if I get stuck. I wasnt planning on going back to work but had two job offers without even looking for a job and the $$ is $30+ an hour, so couldnt say no!
I actually enjoyed today, thinking about and talking about something other than babies!

Although you will find at childcare that you become "Hannah's Mum"
I'm pretty sure they don't know my name (after 2 years!)

Good on you for going back to work, it's only a few hours but the adult company is wonderful. I must be different as at the daycare Andrew goes to they know our names and we get called them.
