enjoy the turkey, pumpkin pie and hopefully you have some way of watching the parade from the states today

and if you accidentally drop off a plate of pie this way.....

Me too! I'm going to make it one day (very soon) so perhaps I can have morning tea at my place so we can all indulge?!

It was on Thursday, but most of us Yankees down under (and the Yankee wannabes) celebrate it on the weekend, since it takes all day to cook the meal... We had our Thanksgiving yesterday (which is why I couldn't make it to the Botany meetup -- was up to my ears in pie making) and it was divine as usual. Maybe I can whip up a pumpkin pie and share it round in the next few weeks -- it's delicious! Especially with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!!! Mmmmmm...

mmm pumpkin pie!!

I didn't realise it was thanksgiving but I had a lovely dinner all the same - sorta a belated birthday meal: roast pork with all the trimmings, white wine (a bday present), and heaps of dessert (left over from my dessert & coffee party last night). Yum!
