I had a look but I couldn't find another thread about this.
How soon after AF is it possible to conceive?? I'm curious and this seemed the best place to inquire I got pregnant with Jake on the day after AF left I know this because it was the only possible time it could've happened IYKWIM. How does it all work??
Scuse me if thats a totally ignorant q. |

it depends on the length of your cycle OV usually occurs around the 14th day in a 28 day cycle so a few days either side of that would be no go days unless your aim is bub.

Babe, you probably ovulated quite a few days after you did the deed, but your DP's sperm was living inside you waiting for the egg!
Apparently they can live for up to 5 days - but in most cases they don't.

Yeah Bex been thinking about charting we were in touch with natural fertility NZ and did the first session but the temp taking fell through the floor (DP kept wanting nooky before I woke up properly and he'd never take my temp first!). I've been thinking of starting up again but kinda been procrastinating. Its really hard to remember to take my temp!!
Ok thanks Ellaroo need to keep that in mind for the future otherwise we may end up with another whoopsie baby |

I thought that to begin with to babe, only started at beginning of this cycle, but I haven't found it to hard, I just set my alarm for a bit earlier than I want to get up (6.30am) for me and as soon as that goes off i take it, then I usually end up snoozing until DS wakes at 7.30ish or get up or ...... hope this helps a bit. After we get #2 I am probably going to look at charting forcontraception (pill doesn't agree with me much)

Yeah we were looking at it for contraceptive purposes I'm allergic to everything else!
Toni I can copy the stuff they gave me and post it to you so PM me if you like. We're planning on waiting til Nov-Dec so baby #2 is born after Jakes 3rd bday so I really havta get onto it coz we're just w/drawing now (sorry if TMI) and while a whoopsie would be welcome it wouldn't be the best thing for my body I gotta sort the PND/PTSD first!
Bex I'll be doing the alarm thing lol DP is a morning person though so will have to make rules otherwise he'll wake up at the alarm and promptly send my temperature through the roof hehe oh the perils of having a man desire you....
