Arghhhh since 3am this morning we have had no water!!! The bad weather blew the transformer on our streets water pump. Dad went down and had a look at it, and called the guy in charge of it, and they are getting someone out to fix it, but urghhhhhhh!
I have JUST enough water in the jug to make my soup and to have a cup of tea. But we cant flush the loo!! Not cool when you are 6 months preggy and peeing like a water fountain!

Im tempted to go outside and fill a bowl with some water from the over flow(fresh water from the rain, comes out of a pipe at the end of our drive) to flush the loo, and to boil some for more tea and coffee lol.

GRRRR what a FUN Saturday Im having!!!

Not such a silly idea... hope you get the water back soon tho...what a bugger not being able to do any dishes !!!

I am on tank water and we loose water whenever we lose power..which is every single time there are strong winds..must live in a super crappy power area. I had no water or power all last night, came home to it so we just went to bed...it is truly horrible though..

Yay we have water now, I was dying for a shower!! lol
This happens to us everytime we have bad weather! Its SOO annoying!

Wow Waiuku, was just out that way earlier today (Awhitu) and the weather was CRAP (windier than heck, and a little rainy too but we didn't loose power or water supply thankfully otherwise we would of had 17 angry game players

we had no water for 4days when i first came home from the hospital with jack   it sucks! makes life so much harder.....
