Now I know you will have all seen the photos before, but I just couldn't resist showing you the email I got from Roland a few minutes ago - this is the 'collage' he has put together for the desktop wallpaper on his work computer
Only four hours to go

Not too bad, although I feel a bit silly counting down the hours so much ! Erin slept soundly all the way to Daddy's work and back, so much so that I still had to wake her for her next feed. She went down reasonably well after that, grizzled for a bit but eventually self settled. She's due up in another half hour or so, and after that it's only a couple more hours til we go out and pick Daddy up. Gah ! See what I mean ? LOL The only real issue today has been me just feeling a bit anxious, but nothing I won't get over - still plenty of light at the end of the tunnel even when I'm still on a 'take it day by day' schedule
Edited to add: I am also quite pleased with myself for actually managing to get in some breakfast and a shower, and even some lunch !

You ARE doing well - most days I didn't get out of my PJ's. Actually I still don't...

He coped ok I think, although he has been feeling it having to do real "work" again ! He was really quite excited to see us when we picked him up which was gorgeous.
I feel bad about today though, Erin's "night" feed (around 5am) went well but she was hard to settled and cried in her bassinette for a while - this woke Roland up, who I think was hoping to "sleep in" for a while. He took the bus in this morning, but I am going to go pick him up this avo I think to make up for it.
