We are moving back! Lew has got about three job interviews coming up, so hopefully one of them will come through, and I am applying for part-time positions like crazy )will have to apply for relief work atthe schools too - if you know anyone who needs Japanese/ESOL/English/drama tutoring yell out!). Looking to move next month at some point but waiting on the job front til we have an exact date. then have to get the house stuff sorted. no idea where we will live just yet, but Mum can look out for us. Thank goodness my inheritence is through soon as thats the bond. I'm really looking forward to it! although I could've had a job here - my teaching practice school offered me a position, but had to turn it down....bum,mer. nevermind!
It is pissing down here and there is practically nowhere to go. At least in the rain Palmy has the Lido, the plaza (seriously am missing Max - who has every heard of a city without even Glassons?????). and will be closer to my family....and to wellington - AND I CAN GO AND SEE IAN MCCALLEN IN KING LEAR (can you tell I'm excited about that!!!) - no idea how much the tickets are - thats for my inheritence to pay - to ease the pain of the death of my grandfather - who would be appalled at me spending money on such a waste as the arts.

anyway, enough rambling, will be looking closely at children when i come to see if I recognice any - usually the kids I spot first, not the adults - can always tell Janine's kids, and even Becks kids too (Xander and Harmony - haven't met Mummy_becks kjids...or have I?)

No you haven't Liz. I would keep an eye out for the job coming up at College St Normal school for the ESOL teacher. It's my mum's job and she is leaving there soon (bit of inside info for you).
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I'm leaving Gisborne. Really do enjoy living here, but shopping is tragic! and the in-laws are a bit...welll....tragic also. Not that mine are going to that much better, Dad is already giving "advice" will have to nip that one in the bud.

and thanks Becks for the insider information! i knew it would good to tell you Oh baby ladies! hehehe

I feel your excitement, I'm going to get tickets to go in Auckland and I CAN'T WAIT!! Once in a lifetime opportunity I reckon.
The ticket prices are a tough one, they go up in $10 lots so it's really easy to go 'oh, if I'm paying that, then I can afford $10 more for the next best seats' and before you know it you're paying $175 for a ticket! Those are the most expensive, not sure what the cheapest are, but there are a lot of options in between.

Sorry, totally off topic but I got all excited when I read that part of your post!

Yay for moving!
