I just checked their website to see who won.  The child is gorgeous, and I checked out who the runners-up were.     I re-read the entry terms and conditions a few weeks back (wanting to find out when the winner was announced) and picked up something I hadn't noticed when I'd read them before: one entry per person.  Whoops, I entered 2 children.   Then seeing who the runners-up were, I noticed that 4 of them had won from the same family - but 2 children from one, the other 2 from another.  Hmmm I don't think that's right..... do you agree with me?  Considering the entry terms said about only entering one child per person, and then the runners-up end up from the same family.   Tell me if I'm being pedantic. |

One entry per person implies that as a parent you can enter once. If it said one entry per child then two children from the same family would be fine, but that's not what it says, so I'd agree with you completely.

Nope one entry per person = 1 entry per child ( i call a child a person, afterall you entered the child not yourself in the comp so two kids from the same family can win). Hope that makes sense?
The kids are obviously not the same person so I'd say their entries were valid IMO.

Now off to have a nosey...

I thought there were only 4 runner-up prizes?
6 have been given out, so do you think perhaps it's two sets of identical twins?

 She's an absolute beauty!!

i dunno. I was going to enter but read through the terms and conditions and decided against it. Didn't like the idea that for $1,000, they could use my child's image where-ever and whenever and for how long they wanted. without my consultation or permission.

Yes, she is very cute! Nice pic.
I wonder if the runners up were entered in the same photo.... ie the two kids sitting side by side? Cos there are 6 runners up, but there were only 4 $250 prizes.

When I read the T&Cs it said one entry per person, but then referred to the person's parents, so I took it as one entry per child.

That's why I assumed they were identical twins. It's a bit mean to pick one and not the other So they probably have to share the $250 between them.

That little girl is gorgeous but WTH did they airbrush the picture? She looks a bit weird. I mean still gorgeous but just...smooth(?). But wow her hair is amaaazing.
And I didn't enter a child so I feel I can pass judgement freely heh (I can only see the pic on the homepage - I'm assuming that's the only one?)

Bottom of the page Bobbie, heheh I did wonder about the airbrushing.
I would hope that Pumpkin Patch did it, not the parents before sending the photo in.
