I'm getting my hair cut & coloured tomorrow.

My hairdresser loves the colour that's in now (really dark), and so do I, but I'm a bit bored with it now.  I'd love to go back blonde through the top, but know this means my regrowth is a lot more noticeable.  But then I get my hair done fairly regularly anyway, so can maintain the regrowth.

And do I cut it short again, since Jett loves to pull on it and that's very irriatating, or do I keep the length, as I really want to grow it heaps longer!

Most of you have seen my pics of me with short blonde hair, and long dark hair.   So which do you prefer on me??

I think that both look nice on you. Cause it's winter I'd stay sark and long then go short, blonde and funky for summer

Have fun choosing - it'll look great no matter what

I tend to agree with Brenna ... id stay darker for the winter months ... then lighten it up again when the sun returns.

I like your hair short .. although if its like mine it grows like a weed so it doesnt stay cute bob length for long! (And Issy loves to pull it .. so a pony tail is my best friend)

Thanks girls

Yeah, trouble with long hair, is Jett loves to pull on it.  And I have really short layers through the top, so when tying it up, bits still come down into my face - REALLY annoying!  So I'm definitely going to grow those out.

I agree with staying dark thru the winter months and then going lighter say around Jetts birthday?

What if you cut it to chin length? How short are your shortest layers?

There is that website that you can put your photo on and then choose different cuts... I'll see if I can find the linky for you.

You could try www.thehairstyler.com

What about a Concave Bob?

I'm thinking that I'll get more purple highlights through like i did a few times ago, as I loved that, but also get some carmel through the top, not quite blonde.  Just to break up the dark.  But also keep the length for now, I want it to grow long how i used to have it in my early 20's.

I want it to look like this eventually... but even longer

That's what I've got kind of a chestnut brown with caramel chunky highlights... you look good with that length

Nice Melln!  It must feel so much lighter, and easier to care for.

I ended up getting purple highlights again (yay, got my pink bits back!), and some caramel through the top, but not too noticeable, so the regrowth won't be so bad.  But will gradually go lighter for summer.
