Topic: Mothers Instinct - Gender of baby Posted: 04 April 2006 at 11:47am |
I know there was a post on here not long ago about how accurate a mothers instinct is on guessing the gender of their child.
Now I want to know...........
Has anyone thought they new the entire time, then towards the end of their pregnancy completely changed their minds?
You see. My entire pregnancy up until last Thursday evening I have been SO confident that I am carrying a boy and I was just so sure of it. Now, since Thursday, for some reason my feelings are strongly pushing towards a girl now??? WHY WHY WHY. I have just totally confused myself!
I was so easy to say "he" all the time, but now I don't like saying it?
This is so weird!
Anyone else experienced this?

I was a confused mess with this one! One second i thought it was a boy (i think this was due to thinking boys were more common) and then id switch to a girl, altho i did have a stronger feeling with the girl. If someone had of asked me to pick i would have said girl over the boy.
What is screaming the strongest at you over boy or girl?

weelll i knew all along that caitlyn was a girl-even tho at the first scan she didnt show her"bits" but then halfway thru even tho deep down i still believed she was a girl i started to think i should get used to the idea it might be a boy (well duh kelly she had to be one or the other!)
I even had a dream i was carrying twin boys and my friend did the ring thing and it showed a boy and my mum went to a psychic who said i was having a boy but even tho i didnt admit it i had my heart set on a girl-not for any reason other than thats what i felt and i hate being wrong!
So when i went for another scan and miss showoff had her legs wide open with a "lovely" view and they told me she had a "hamburger" and was definetly a girl i was relieved-cos it proved what ive always known .....
That kelly (me) is ALWAYS right !LMAO!!!!
so if deep down u think ur having a boy ....u just mite be right

I knew with Kiya I was having a girl... scan showed I was right!
Both Nat and I knew with Josiah we were having a boy... other people told me I was having another girl... scan showed we were right!
This time, we're both leaning towards a boy (or twin girls! )

i have absolutely no faith in my intuition but when i was preg with my daughter i felt she was a girl, although that may have been more because i wanted a girl? anyway scan confirmed i was right. this time i had stronger boy feelings up until a couple of weeks before the scan and then i wasn't so sure. sure enough, he's a boy.

I HOPED bubs was a girl - but deep down I knew he was a boy. I would go into baby shops and want to look at all the pretty pink stuff, but be pulled over to the blue stuff.... Now I'm so happy to be having a boy

Every one told me that I was about to have a boy...tho I smiled and said oh good....I always wanted a girl and knew that I would have a girl (well hoped any way)...and at my 24 week scan I found out that it is a girl....I was very very happy!
Instinct or wishful thinking....who knows?

I was sure Jake was a girl...til he was born and obviously wasn't. After that I predicted janine would have a boy - Ayja was then born. After those two debacles I refrained from predicting with taine but secretly believed he was a she. Maybe UI'm the opposite of psychic, I could advertise my services
