Here are some photos from yesterday, still haven't uploaded the photos from today.

Looking north up our street, the car you can see is an MP out roaming

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

No worries, will get around to uploading the photos from yesterday at some stage today to put them up too.

It isn't that cold, just looks it.

Becks I was quite surprised at how 'not' cold it was in Waiouru when I stopped there.

Also there was bugger all snow from Ohakune around to Turangi except at Horopeto(sp)

He he, next time I will. I'd already spent 3 hours in Sanson having coffee so it was only a quick stop.

We are going up at Labour weekend again but won't have time to stop, but will definitely call through as I plan to spend more time up there over the Xmas hols.

Lizzle, very very very jealous. I have been traveling the desert road since I was 10 & I've never seen them. Mum said that she saw them but I missed it

The snow up there reminded me of the time when Dad had to load all the kids up in our car to get through to ballet practice in Ohakune. I used to dream that I was pirouetteing through the fields.
