Topic: Where to get cool NZ t-shirts? Posted: 02 May 2007 at 9:40am |
My sis is currently on her OE in Dublin & wants a NZ T-shirt for her birthday, but she doesn't want a tacky touristy one, she wants a more funky one. Any ideas where I can find one???

If you don't mind spending a bit more huffer have some really nice, funky ones. You can find them at most surf shops.

Yes, try the website of my friend, she creates cool NZ tees that are funky and not touristy for when kiwi's live overseas
www.billitees.co.nz
Hope this helps, I know I have several and they are fantastic quality, wash up really well and do not shrink, stretch etc....

Hi Nikki!
DH bought me a Federation (www.federation.co.nz) t-shirt for Christmas, made in NZ with very funky NZ designs. They are quite expensive but very very cool.
They are quite "trendy" in the fashion world at the moment!
Mine is a plain stone like colour with a basic round world shaped pic with a little arrow pointing to NZ that says "I call NZ home". The pic is all in white printing and is very simple, yet very effective!
Hope that helps!
See ya
Nicole

I love the funky Lone Star ones too. Not the traditional one but they do quite cool NZ ones. Lived in mine while overseas and got heaps of comments on it!

I have a good friend that designs the BEST NZ t-shirts ever! and really reasonable too.
Her website is
http://www.phojotaranaki.co.nz/
I have a couple and she will do pretty much whatever you want, my DD has some too, so they are not just for grown ups. She can even do preggy t's too if you want.
I often say to her I wish she did these t's while I lived in the UK, cos I would have lived in them.

A girl I work with just showed me one she is sending to her sister. Its from supre! I never shop there, but the tshirt was actually quite cool. Its plain black, but on the front, bottom left hand side it has a picture of NZ in white glitter. It was $20!

I love outthereclothing.
They have awesome NZ maori designs adn are all made in NZ.
I think htey only in Queenstown, Arrowtown and Wellington but Im sure they would have an online store.
They can also measure to fit if something doesn't fit quite right they did for a pair of pants for me.
