Hey there ChCh ladies,

I am busy planning how to entertain DS once the new baby arrives and he is no longer at full time daycare.

I have looked into playcentre but don't really think its my thing so am after a playgroup type thing and not the Plunket based one.

Can anyone recommend one or know of one in the following areas:
Bishopdale
Burnside
Harewood
Bryndwr
Riccarton

Thanks so much for your help. Have tried googling but not much has come up.

TIA

I know you said playcentre/daycare isnt your thing
I was against it too
BUT I LOVE MY ONE!
Aratupu on Harewood road - down by the sanatarim factory is the best, and really cheap!
at the moment Aidan is in 2 days _there hours are 8.30am till 2.30pm and we pay a grand total of $0.47c and no Im not joking. they get morning tea and lunch provided - have to take your own lunch during the school holidays.
each child gets there own toothbrush and after lunch they brushe there teeth. If you toilet traing they help you with it. if your child isnt sleeping properly then the social worker can help you
usually once a week you get a bag of bread and buns from the bakery, they have cereal sometimes - last time it was a fruit porriage! so to buy its not cheap
anyway Ill finish my novel lol if you want to know more give them a call however I know they have a waiting list

Am after one that I can stay at which is way I was thinking playcentre or playgroup but thanks for the recommendation.

DS is in full time daycare at the mo so just want a playgroup that we can go along to and have a play and a chat to other adults.
