well seems like Palmy is a perfered option for cost and central location... I am easy and could stay with SIL then.

Not meaning to be rude or offend anyone, but for us south islnaders, a flight to Aucks is dearer than a flight to Oz...
I realise that there are alot more north islanders posting on here, thus the preference for north island locations, but surely in the interests of being "fair" you would pick a central location? Maybe a north island/south island meet up would be for feesable/affordable?
