Topic: OMG what have I done? - Help with Comp.. Posted: 06 August 2008 at 1:15pm |
Ok so in my attempt to clean up my laptop and get rid of files I've somehow managed to delete my file full of music ....I tried restoring it to the MUSIC folder so it plays in windows media automatically but the stupid thing won't copy.
So I restored it elsewhere and then copy and pasted onto a DVD so i have a copy in storage AND THEN I managed to copy and paste the music back into Music folder except now I have a copy of music folder stuck in my pictures file and it keeps telling me administrator needs to confirm deleting it and I always click ok and it won't budge
It's like I open pictures, music folder, then it comes up music file....then music folder.....etc etc, its like 10 folders of the same thing in each other? * ARGH HEADACHE!*

LOL ...a mac? ...Don't laugh now, but I have absolutely NO IDEA what the difference between that and a normal computer is? hehe
And to think I used to be computer literate ...I seem to be making this situation worse too, the more I try to restore the original music folder ...the more music files/folders I seem to find dotted all over the place in my documents.
Can anyone say blonde moment?

Apple computers....... they're kinda different to PCs in the way they run, you can just drag anything to anywhere, real easy.
And they don't get virus', woo hoo!!
I do actually wish I could help with your music problem, but I too have no idea...

See the last one you have? Open that and copy the actual song files not the folder. Then paste the files into the first 'music' folder and delete the rest :)
