Ok so gone are the days where I wore heels 6 days a week 8 hours a day but occassionally when I go out for dinner I wear them again, I have a couple of really nice pairs that I want to wear while im in Auckland in a few weeks but they keep slipping at the back (they don't have straps around the ankles they are just plain court heels).
What I want to know is there anything that I can put in the shoe to make them stop slipping? I asked in Farmers but they had no idea what I was on about lol. Its not the size as I initially thought because I tried 1 size and half a size down in store but found they were too tight. Is there such thing?????
I find that half insoles work well because it shoves your heel up against the back of the shoe tight enough so they don't slip. You can also get heel pads to put inside the shoe but I don't like these as much.
I've got some of those heel pad thingees, but they're not gel. They look like a padded plaster. I put them in a pair of my bigger shoes and they did the job! I can't remember where I got them from but it was most likely a chemist.
You can get these things called heel grips (sticky mouth guard looking things only fabric!) from most shoe stores but a thin insole cut in half would also work I think.

I just got some of the heel inserts from the Shoe Warehouse. Havent tried them yet so not sure how great they are.
Probably a really dumb question, but for those who have tried them does the sticky side stick to the shoe or the foot??

I am pretty sure the company that makes party feet does them as well. Tee Twyford who has the NZ Girl website was talking about them on Breakfast a few weeks ago. I have tried searching the Breakfast website but can't find it, you maybe able to find it on there or her website
Hehe I tried that but he reminded me of the dress he bought for me to wear to the wedding because none of my others fitted, and the new makeup he got me becuase the shades were just wrong now and the new linen he got last week because it was 30% off last week
