Topic: Ive got a toof! Posted: 06 August 2007 at 4:23pm |
I think!
Sam has been a wee bit unsettled for a few days, and drooling a whole lot so I looked in his mouth and theres a lovely little white bit on his gum! I wiped my finger along his gum to see if it was stuck spew or something but nope, it stayed there.
I'm also wondering whether it's a little ulcer or blister?
Could it possibly be a tooth?!?!
It's on his bottom gum at the front, to the right a bit.
SCARY STUFF! Has anyone elses kiddies had teeth really young?
I'm still not convinced that it is a tooth, but we will see I guess.

Wow, go Sam! I *think* AnnC's little boy had teeth really early? And fattartsrocks wee girl has a molar already and she's only a few months old. Teeth seem to be weird things, there's no rhyme or reason to it. Sienna and Mercedes got their two bottom teeth around the same time, now Mercedes also has three top teeth, has had them for a few weeks and Sienna's top teeth aren't even showing under the gum yet.

Is the white just under his gum or just through? If it is just through it will feel sharp.
Pretty cool though I got my first tooth at 3 1/2 mos, I am fortunate though to have babies who don't get their teeth until 8mos

It doesn't feel sharp so I guess it's not quite through yet. It's a definite white piece on his gum! My little giant baby is growing up!

Does it feel hard though? And does the gum look like it has a slit? Ashleigh had a few milk spots on her bottom gum and I was forever thinking they were teeth!! But wow if it is a tooth!

Char got her 2nd tooth at the weekend, a bottom leftie. Didn't notice it till I was running a finger over her gums, she was flat out chewing my fingers. It may be a tooth there, ready to come thru, they will be moving round soon for him, you may notice it dissapear again before it erupts!

Wow how cute if it is a tooth. Kahtrell just got his 2nd tooth come through last friday. He got his first tooth about 2 weeks ago. I think he was kinda teething near that age, but nothing came through.

YAY Sam.
Haleighs bottom teeth started moving at 2months but didnt cut properely till she was over 3months.
My mum said to me to gently tap a clean teaspoon on the gum and you should hear it slightly tapping, then you know its a tooth

Wow he's starting young! Go, little Sam, go you good thing you!
Ella had a white spot on her gum for a week or so, and a couple of weeks later a tooth appeared where the spot had been. If it's a tooth that's through it'll definantly feel sharp on your finger, but sounds like he's got a toothie moving about already - how exciting!
