you think for a show that caters for so many people that they would have more wouldnt you. Im sure even one in Hamilton or taupo etc would get people from surrounding areas at attend - esp as there were so many internet companies there that i had never heard of!

Have to agree with the places it is at. Yeah sure Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch are the main centres - but there are parents and children all over NZ. The Wellington one was packed and we went down on Friday and heaps of people we spoke to at the stands said that there were heaps of people from Palmy that had come down to the show. Yeah it's only an 1 1/2 drive down but it would be nice to have it in Palmy as well so the people from the Naki and Hawkes Bay (for example) could drive over for the day and be able to see the show as well. And Palmy now has somewhere big enough to host the show so it could be done. And to tell you the truth I am going to arrange a holiday next year to Auckland at the same time the parent and child show is one and go to that one as it sounded really cool and that it had so many more stores that the Wellington one - we didn't have Persil at that one and that is a great deal.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
