Well Rhiannons first day was monday (she goes mon, wed, friday 7.30-1.30).
anyway between moving and starting daycare all within a week of each other, she is doing remarkably well.
On monday i stayed for 20mins and only left her there for 4 hours instead of the 6 just to get her use to it....well this morning, she is at their front door knocking before i can get the stuff out of the car...
she walks straight in and starts playing with the other kids, and as she is walking in the house she is going "bye mummy", no kiss no nothing....
I have to admit for 30secs i felt hurt but got over it quickly, im just really pleased that she is upset by being left somewhere.
so now i have till 1.30pm to my self today and friday (looking at starting work next week)....so what to doo....its so cold i think i might go back to bed....even though the boxes are calling me...lol
sounds like she has settled in really well, thats great! I remember feeling like that when I would leave DS at kindy lol, like arent you going to miss me lol! And my vote would be good back to bed!!
hahaha i tried going back to bed, but didnt work...have done all the washing and housework and now twiddling thumbs until 1pm, when i head out to get her
My boys just had their first pre visits at daycare today. I had just over an hour to myself. If I had my car out of the garage I was going to the gym but instead I went searching through boxes to get some stuff inside, but I never found it.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
