Topic: Opshop came to school today Posted: 26 June 2008 at 7:34pm |
...and left with 300 new fans. they were absolutely fantastic.
they were scheduled to arrive at 1:30. at 12:30 had not heard anthing and was beginning to worry that we would be sitting in the hall with no one turning up. but then i got a call from Matt at 1 - they arrived about 20 minutes later.
We got some kids to interview them. they were so fantastic with the kids - got them really interested and entertained everyone. then they sang "one day" which was sooooo fantastic live and gave some kids free tickets (gave me some too - but i couldn't go ). then we gave them some home baking to say thank you
Was just really impreseed with the way they intereaacted with everyone - signed things, took pics and everything. the kids were buzzing, i was jumping up and down with the photography teacher and the other teachers were really impressed.
So YAH Opshop!

Oh my gosh yes Kelly I saw that doco. And she was grinning and was so happy. I cried my eyes out too and thought I would never think of that song in the same way again.

Yay that is so cool. I was meant to say something yesterday but didn't get onto the net last night.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
