Okay, I havn't been employed by the same people for a year. It'll be around 6months,and it's not full time work. I just got a full time day job. Am i entitled to maternity leave? Ill have been there around 7months before bubs.

From the Dept of Labour website
"You are eligible for parental leave if you have:
Worked for the same employer for an average of at least 10 hours a week, and at least one hour in every week or 40 hours in every month, in the six or 12 months immediately before the baby’s expected due date"

We don't qualify for ANY subsidy! But still need to get in a lodger to help pay the bills so we can afford another baby! I'm still not happy about that, but it means we get to have another baby and it will only be until I return to full time work (hopefully!!)

We certainly don't live an extravagant lifestyle (and I have 2 jobs (normal 9-5 and nappy agent) but sadly we are still classed as mid-high earners! Not sure where the money is tho - perhaps down the back of the couch I'll find a couple of million bucks?

I highly recommend a repayments holiday tho - We'll definitely be doing that as PPL isn't even half of my wages
