Yup. We had it there in the gardens - just an afternoon tea.
I'll post all the details later on when I get a chance to sit down properly. I have lots of pics from my bridesmaids/best man to share as well!

Okay, here we go.
So as you all know, I had issues with my dress turning up.
The lady I got it from had a new one made, and that arrived last week on wednesday - didnt need any alterations, just needed pressing. On the thursday morning the original first dress that went missing arrived! So I have to send that one back.
Everyone started arriving on Friday, had a full house all day. I was tired, Thomas was tired and Matt was starting to freak out lol. We had rehersal on saturday afternoon where my mother in law was being a complete pain in the arse trying to organise everyone and telling my celebrant what to do - she wasnt gonna have a bar of that, so she told everyone that it was gonna go HER way or no way at all (yay for people who have the balls to stand up like that). MIL tried to organise my venue hosts as well and was quickly told by my mother to butt out.
Had a nice day out on sunday with my bridesmaids getting the last bits and pieces we needed for monday, all the while I was arguing with Matt about him going out sunday night - I didnt want him to go as I didnt trust his best man to behave. They ended up going to paintball ALL DAY, and he came home covered in welts from the pellets, but enjoyed himself anyway.
Monday came along and he was rushed off to his mothers house with his brothers and best man to get ready. I spent ages at the hairdresser and having my makeup done and was tired before everything started to come together. My sister was fluffing around being annoying, my other bridesmaids decided at the last minute (30 mins before we had to leave) that they needed something under their dresses, so mum had to rush of to Farmers and get boob tubes. I couldnt get into my shoes properly - I hated them, and my sister decided she didnt want to wear hers at all. We made a comprimise in letting her cut the straps off so she could just slip them on and off.
I left the house and all my neighbours were outside waving etc - tripped over my dress twice on the way to the car! That was pretty funny :P
Got to the chapel and fell out of the car - It was 2 door and I really should have sat in the front instead of the back.
Girls went in first, me and dad followed and I almost completely lost it and started crying.
We had a problem with the CD player and I walked down the aisle to no music at all!
My nanna was sitting up the front with Mum, Dad and Thomas and talked the whole way thru the ceremony - she's got dimentia, so she doesnt know wether she's coming or going, but that's okay - I quite expected that to happen.
I remembered my vows as well! I'm really impressed as I didnt practice them or anything lol. Matt was a bit teary eyed when he said his, and I luckly kept it together!
Our afternoon tea reception was lovely - the photographers were the BEST! They told us exactly what to do, and moved my dress around so it covered my bare feet (had to take the shoes off after the ceremony as my toes were horribly painful!)
The only problem I had with the whole day was that the ground was muddy and the bottom of my dress got all wet and dirty lol. Got some lovely photos taken by the best man (link posted at the end) as well. Oh my sister stood on my dress too, and a reference was made in the best mans speech to her doing that, just like my Gran did when my aunty linda got married! Luckly her shoe didnt go thru it haha.
After all was said and done it was back to our place for a massive BBQ. We had so much food and drink everywhere and the weather held up lovely! Me and Matt were exhausted and just wanted to leave for our hotel to sleep! I reminded him to ring and confirm our booking - good thing he did too because they didnt have our booking and we would have turned up and had no-where to stay!
The room was amazing - california king bed, heated floors etc. I had a shower and when I came back into the bedroom Matt had fallen asleep, so I just watched some TV for a while and slept LOL.
Overall it was a mint day, we both had a great time.
Its so strange being married - although its not any different to before as we've lived together for quite a while, its still odd beint Mrs McNabb :P
So there you go, thats the story
