Not that I have noticed I'll look and come back if it's changed but ours went up a few dollars a couple of months ago.

Child Disabilty Allowance is for the parents of children who are in some way disabled/medical condition requiring constant supervision etc I think most of who get it on here get it for our kids who have allergies.
Its $40.73 per week, but for us it only just covers our extra expenses cos of allergies - $100 a month for formula, medication for reflux and allergies, special food that is more expensive than a regular brand, EpiPens at $200 a pop that last 6-9 months (so 3-4 a year if you have 2 of them), if you have to see a specialist its around $200 just to see them, etc, etc....

My son is only $81.46 a fortinght which sucks as it hardly covers the on-going costs of raising a special needs child

Yeah the CDA is the same for everyone and not income tested. But if you fall below a certain income (I think its around $750pw before tax) then you can get extra help under the disabilty allowance.
