Topic: Have you seen this bear? Posted: 16 May 2006 at 10:22pm |
seriously - have any of you anywhere seen this bear lately. This very bedraggled looking jammie bear is Ayja's best friend and most important bedtime companion - however when we bought him mike could only find 2, which we thought would be plenty at the time, however with one being at daycare full time and this being the only one at home - they are both becomming very sick and sad, and not really too hygenic anymore i think - despite constant trips thru the washer and dryer after ayja has gone to sleep. as you can see he has an icky stain where she sucks on his ticket, all i can think is it has developed over time despite those constant washings.
From what i can remember, they were called Pajama Pals, and there were a few different animals, this one, which is the teddy in yellow jammies with sheep on them, with pink around edges. and there was a dog wearing blue ones and maybe another type of animal too.
They had been at Farmers, but ours sold out of them - they went on sale on clearance on the day Ayja was born hence why mike only got 2 despite me planning for weeks that he would buy a couple more than that with Paris on the day Ayja was born (sorry to ramble).
Anyway, if any has seen these bears on sale anywhere recently PLEASE TELL ME, and we will find some way to deposit money to your bank account if you could buy and send to us. we are getting pretty desperate - there's nothing else she is close to, and this guy goes everywhere with her, more so than paris's bunny ever did.
Any help would be very greatly appreciated.

ps, can you tell i have a week at home this week - i have posted sooo much.

Weird, I think I might have bought one of the other animals for someone in that clearance, now that I think about it.. were they about $1 or something ridiculously cheap?

I saw one similar today at Edex toys but it had pink pajamas and a white face. That is all they had but maybe other edex toy shops have different ones.

I just had a thought Janine. IS there a tag on it that says who made the bear? Look them up on the net. Fire them off an email with pics of the bear and they should tell you who the supply to in nz and tell you the excact name of the bear.
Alyssa had a really cool rattle when she was little that did heaps of stuff. Anyway she lost it and i wanted one for Jayde so I emailed kidsII and they told me they had gone out of making it but gave me a suppliers name in australia who had fwd alot of the toy to jollyjumper in NZ. SO yay. I ended up buying 10 of them and gave them away as gifts.
Anyway what im trying to say is contacting the person who makes it might be a really good idea. Failing that you could always try farmers head office. Ill have a look for it today in farmers though

kewl thank you - no the tags were thrown away long ago all i can remember is they were called pajama pals, no idea who made them - have tried googling them on the net even and found nothing (except long lines of untasteful sites.. as you can imagine typing pajama pals into a search engine might result in. lolol ) But i may go and ask again, last time i asked at farmers they looked at me as if i was nuts.
