Well after a bit of a chat with my man, we have decided to give #2 a go. I swore black and blue that I was going to wait and do this and do that but alas time is not on my side! I see my fertility signs taking a dive and I do know that my medical history has followed my mum's who went through menapause at 40 Oh well, looking forward to the journey and being casual about it for now!! |

Oh how exciting! Very sensible to be proactive too, with your mum being that bit earlier than usual with menopause, from my understanding I agree you would be sensible to ttc sooner rather than later.
just think, once #2 is here, you will have a clear run to achieve those things you thought you might do in between!

 Good luck!!!!

Wow that's an early menopause... I'm curious to know whether she had a lot of kids or few? (They say lots of kids can bring it on.)
All the best for TTC, how exciting!

Wow, let's hope it's that easy for you!
(And menopause at 40, if you've had your family then I bet it's a blessing to have all those AF's done with!) |

I was reading just recently (and I don't know where) that the more kids you have the longer you are fertile for. Something to do with not releasing eggs while you are pregnant so the more time you spend pregnant the less eggs you release so the longer time it takes to get rid of them all later on if that makes sense.
*waffle waffle* I need to go to bed!

Good luck with #2 Peace, hopefully its a short TTC ride for you. My mum didn't do the menopause thing she had everything (yep everything) removed just after she turned 30 and i'm heading that way. |

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
