im pretty sure you cant send a one year old to anger management......if you can then let me know..............this morning just out of the blue he started screaming , tears and all.............he goes into the hallway grabs the wall and smacks his head into it...............he did this the other day outside on the concrete................i went up to him to find out what the matter was he slammed himself on the ground and kept kicking and screamed louder.............im limited as to wat i can do being pregs.............so i walk away let him get it out of his system............15mins later still screaming..............by now he has issues............so get his bottle grab him as he is hurting himself now jab the bottle in his mouth and put on cartoons............then put him to bed...........so wat the heck was wrong with him.........i keep telling people he is just going through his teenage years ...............there is something at the back of my mind saying there is something medically wrong......he has a odd rash that has spread doc dont know what it is...since he has it he has been MORE moody. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr im leaving home

Take him to the Dr and get him checked out. The rash could be a heat one, cos the weather has been pretty intense lately, but the headbanging and tantrums could well be a sign of ear infection or some other illness.

And will give you peace of mind if all that is clear that he is just going through a tanty stage.

taine was in really foul moods - and those were the first signs we had somethng was wrong....later he got really lethargic and just so bad tempered. Turns out he was low in iron. But I would suggest getting a blood test rather than risking a supplement. Too much iron can be dangerous.

Yeah I agree he should be checked out, thats not normal behaviour. He could be in pain or something. Good luck hun!

You can ask for a blood test no dr should be telling you there is no need.

Hope you new dr can help you better than this one.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
