For your kind donation... Thank you very much, thank you very, very very much...
Ahhh the memories! Anyone else remember staying up to watch Telethon all those many years ago? I always used to laugh when people donated just to get Judy Bailey and John Hawksby to have a pash!!
I wonder what sort of "international celebrities" they'll be able to pull for this one?
Telethon is back! KidsCan launches ‘Big Night In’ to benefit Kiwi kids living in poverty
It’s been 15 years since New Zealand’s iconic telethon appeared on our TV screens having raised millions of dollars for good causes in its 18 year run. Now KidsCan is launching ‘Big Night In’ in partnership with TV3 to benefit Kiwi kids living in poverty.
The idea behind Big Night In is to net at least two million dollars for KidsCan enabling it to make a tangible difference in the lives of 42,000 disadvantaged children across New Zealand.

I remember having sleep overs at friends/in the lounge, bringing the sleeping bags in for a whole night of tv watching (probably fell asleep around 9.00pm!!!) and eating junk food! Ah the memories!

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I used to love telethons. We went to one (not for the whole time though) when I was a kid and it was being hosted in Dunedin.
