 Topic: Arna - free weekend..

Well David and I have the house to ourselves this weekend as his mum has taken Arna to Wanganui...
I just have a slight problem... I DON'T have ANYTHING to do  I know there are weeds in the garden, dishes in the sink, clothes in the laundry, lawns to be mowed but I feel like I should be doing something "normal" (or pre-mummy!) but I just feel lost I guess.
I'm laughing at this post now, I have a sh*t load of things to do!! Just no Arna to help me clean the windows, pull the plants instead of the weeds, unfolding all the washing I spent an hour to fold...
I am sad (pathetic sad)!!
Oh well off to movies tomorrow... *Ponders* what should I do till then!?

hahaah i had the same now what did i do pre mummy thing as well funny that sometimes u cant wait till they r gone and when they r u miss them

I would have gone straight out and bought some wine, posh nibbles, and a girly DVD LOL But I am a bit of a city chick , hehehe... Probably would have got a whole load of trashy magazines as well, and just blobbed out with the booze and food  At the same time, to make myself feel better about all the money I would have spent just on myself, I would have done the chores and stuff first, and upped the satisfaction level that way

I'd be sleeping! Thats teh #1 thing I miss about my pre-child days. Although the odd night Maya has been away I still wake up early in the morning, I'm so used to it.

Lena, I feel the same way as you, I have so much to do but at the same time wish Ella was here (when she is away). I find I can get more done if she is at home but someone else is watching her ie her dad or my mum etc.. then I can relax

I can't even think what it would be like to have a Hannah-free weekend! It is way out of this realm of possibility. Maybe I should start talking to Mum about it???

Well Arna is going to be back in an hour this is what I have done...
Gardening, feed the neighbours animals, milked the cows, watched tv, stayed up late, got up early, milked again and slept. Also I have had an EXTREMELY sore stomach that nearly made me go to the hospital (only reason I didnt go was I was too tired...)
So now I have a headache, sore stomach and I feel like going to bed... I have an hour and I know that that time will be spent on here... Maybe next time we should go AWAY from the farm to make the most of it!!
Next time Jax I will do what you said
