on a trip to Picton for the night with Mum, staying at my poppa's place.
I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!
Although I am going to be spending the whole time doing school work... such a let down for my first night of complete freedom. Ah well... this is just the beginning!

woohoo. now is your chance to be bad. you can....go to the toilet without "visitors", have a long shower secure in the knowledge that you will still have a working VCR when you get out! Ah, the luxury! I'm so jealous

when I was teaching Nikki, this woman said to me "oh, you must be missing your babies" and I absentmindedly said "no, not really. enjoying the break to tell the truth" and the look of disgust I got! sop after that when anyone asked if I missed the boys I would say "oh yes...terribly!"

I went away a few weekends ago (for music comps) and a few of the dad's that were with us asked if I was missing Andrew. I said I wasn't as this is a break for me. One of them even congratulated me for not ringing or texting DH to see how he was doing until Sunday morning. The break was wonderful even thou I didn't get much of a break - performance Saturday night, marching Sunday lunchtime and a performance Sunday afternoon. But when I came home Andrew wanted to be with me all the time and not let me go until he had told me everything he did and everything I had been doing. Very cute but a tad annoying as I was hungry and wanted to eat.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I LOVE it when my mum babysits for the night! And I cannot wait until the in-laws will have Quinn in Matamata for a weekend!! I keep suggesting it but they are not so keen just yet, darn it!

haha Well it was weird being able to sleep until my alarm... usually I am woken up a good hour before it goes off and am already out of bed. I didn't wanna get out this morning but had to! Damnit.
It's been really cool with Mum having her... she's been sending me pxts of her so I know what she is up to. Looks like she is having heaps of fun! Will be glad to see monkey kid tonight tho

Enjoy your peace and quiet Nikki! I got a sleep in this morning since Willie had to take Maya to preschool I figured I might as well stay in bed.
And Lu it would be just my luck to go into labour when she is away on Thurs and miss out on another sleep in!
