Hi all,
Just wanted to let those ladies that gave me HEAPS of advice and support know what happend at the Homeopath today.

Shonna (the Homeopath) said that her pooing problem could stem back to being an "over active foetus" as I ended up with inflammed rib cartiage and this apparently has an effect on her bowel .
Also the fact that she had a reaction to her jabs and has been not right ever since (she's had 2 colds since), her body basically just went "nup - stuff ya" (Homeopaths words not mine lol).

We thought this morning that she had another cold, but Shonna says it is more of a mucus/sinus issue and has given us some weird name drops that will also help with her constipation and any nasty side effect issues that are hiding out in her from her jabs .

And to top it all off Caitlin is probably Lactose Intolerant as well! (I became lactose intolerant during pregnancy but am fine now) so Shonna refered us back to our Nurse we saw at the Family Centre (the nice Plunket Nurse, not the one we were assigned) and she said that before we switch to Soya or Goats Milk we should see a Paediatrician (sp?) who turns out to be the same guy who performed the CS (really lovely guy )

Ending on a brighter note.... She went poos all by herself this afternoon and only grizzled a wee bit
Dunno if that is due to the wonder drops Shonna gave us or just the fact that she "may" be overcoming the constipation by herself?!?!
I don't care! All I know is that we WILL get to the bottom of this (no pun intended!)

Our appointment with the Paediatrician is on Tuesday - will let you know how we get on.

Thanks again to all of those lovely ladies for your advice and support. This website is the best!

that's so good, when mikey was constipated when he was a wee bubba my mum (who is a homeopath) gave him something that helped heaps.
so glad it seems like she's getting better, lets hope it continues
