the Warehouse is advertisaing a new sesame street toy - just thought I'd let you know what it is - as it is pretty cool. It's a talking Elmo, that you can plug into the computer and it will "learn" your child's name. You go to the website and choose one., if your kid's name isn't there, you can write to mattel and they will put it on the site. jake's was there but Tayne's wasn't....some wreird names were!!! Anyway, it's really neat. Then it will sing songs and tell stories, all featuring your child's name. Wowo - i sound like an ad. I was going to get one for Jake, but Mum just got him a tickle me Elmo, so now can't.

Are you sure it can say your name??? Andrew has one of these and it is exclusive to Target in Australia and won't be coming to NZ for at least a year. I saw the one they had in the warehouse today and it talks but doesn't say your name and falls over and gets back up again and its called Elmo DTX.

Its called Elmo knows your name. My dad got one for Andrew last time he was in Sydney as they had just came out over there and they told him that it wouldn't be in NZ for at least a year as they had the Australisia rights to it and weren't going to let anyone have it for a while. Might have to let my dad know about that if it is the Elmo knows your name, as Target had the rights to it for a while.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

dammit, went and saw and it is the tickle extreme - unfortunately most of those toys are completely un-cuddly. In fact they would hurt if you bounced them off a little brother's head for instance.
