If I get it together enough to do a nurse-in, I will word it / promote it so that supporters are more than welcome to join in including those that don't / can't breastfeed.
Babies AND toddlers are also more than welcome 
It seems as though the studio itself that they broadcast from is in Ponsonby, and I am hoping to get my complaint in to the station itself at the very least before I start organising the actual event.

i'm there for a 'nurse-in'!! I joined your fb group too. also let's just boycott their station and NOT listen to the edge. Their dj's are sooo immature anyway, and there are so many other top 40 stations to listen to. Spread the word, and get them where it hurts!! Their popularity!

Hehe, have joined the group. I read/heard somewhere that Gen Y is one of the highest populaton groups to have an issue with breast feeding and I expect that is the age of these losers.

Just a quick update...
The FB group page has over 240 members now, and I am on the verge of sending off an official complaint to the station itself, am just waiting on a friend to cast their eyes over it (for clarity's sake), and then will fire off copies both by email and snail mail.
I suspect my littlest babe will probably be awake shortly though, so will get that ball rolling later this afternoon, and after that will do some digging and get to posting the link to the FB group page to various The Edge FB pages

We are closing in on having 300 members, amazing! 
I've also sent off my official complaint to the station, and it is really just a waiting game to see when / what kind of response we get - keep your fingers crossed it's a good one!

Well, suffice to say my ears are burning just a little... kudos to Fletch for making an effort, but I am throwing in the towel and find it incredibly sad that Vaughan felt that a simple apology was undeserved.
I never once said he wasn't entitled to his opinion but will always have a problem with those who think that breastfeeding in public is not OK.
I think too I maybe need to turn off the computer for a few days, I am just too bloody tired...

Hey you did a really good thing. Comments like the one made possibly contribute to a more negative stance on breastfeeding by the younger generations.
That is why I think that remarks like that are really not necessary.
