Well McKayla is feeling a bit better. We are all getting a bit better but I struggled with nose bleeds the whole day. Didnt get much studying in but should be fine with a week left.

I however are starting to miss my dad tons. I am really close to him and it is getting to a year that I last saw him. I think it is because we are coming up to the year anniversary of us being in NZ. And knowing my dad wont surprise me on my birthday this year. My birthday. Ha cant believe it is this week. Just doesnt feel special at all anymore.

I just miss my animals and my family. Dont get me wrong. I LOVE LOVE NZ. I wont give up staying here for the rest of the world. Just wish SA was as close as Australia was.

Did I miss you being unwell? Why the nosebleeds?

I felt a bit like how you are when it came up to my birthday last year. It just felt like no one really knew, or cared, when it was! Can you organise a dessert and coffee night or something with a couple of girlfriends or your DH? Something a little special for your special day - it only happens once a year!

Hope you feel better and brighter soon

I sometimes get nosebleeds if BP goes high or when seasons change or just because. They could never figure out why sometimes.

It seems to be normal for me and seems to be when spring comes or when winter arrives for some reason. And when it starts it usually doesnt stop that easily at all. But I am fine. Just have a bad cold. Seems the whole family got a really bad cold.

I have a playcentre meeting on my birthday at least there will be loads and loads of nice yummy food. I think I am just missing my dad as he always sends me a really nice sms and a nice call. I know he will do the same this year but he just seem so far away. Grant on the other hand doesnt seem to like birthdays or do anything nice on them.
