Topic: $10 gift for a 1 year old? Posted: 23 June 2008 at 7:00pm |
Our antenatal group is having a combined first birthday party and we each have to buy a gift for one other kid. $10 is the limit and we are buying for a boy.
Anyone got any ideas? I was looking on Ferrit and saw this http://www.ferrit.co.nz/7305218.html What do you think?
Any other ideas?

Gremlins have these phones, they got them from Willie's work as Xmas pressies, they love them coz they are into phones atm.
Otherwise those wooden puzzles are usually $9.99 at Kmart...

The $2 shop at the palms has all this really cool pirate dress up stuff at the mo - you can get a hat, beard, blow up parrot for shoulder, eye patch and sword - Very cool for a boy but not sure if they are too young.
The phone toys cool - we have one at home - its just not used yet.

Alyssa has one of those phones and she likes it, but seems to prefer the Fisher Price Lil' Snoopy. Same sort of pull along toy though. I'm sure both are in the same range of Fisher Price basics which are around the same price..they sell them all at the Warehouse..

Stacking Blocks - Rhyley loves these and so did the other two when they were little - good for boys and girls - you know the ones that sit inside each other

Those foam(?) floor mats/puzzles with numbers 0-9 in them. Sorry hard to explain but they are often at Warehouse for $10.
Y'know, I'd go along to the nearest $2 shop and just see what's available. Maybe some bath toys (but not the stupid floating ones - gotta get pourers!)?
