I thought it was just the season final. Maybe they did it that way so they dont have to go through all the babies stuff next season? And so there is a new storyline for Gabrielle? Was a bit weird though!

yeah it's the season finale, i read somewhere that next season is set 5 years on from this season hence Gabby with a couple kids, susan with a new husband, Lynette's kids old enough to drive, Katherine's daughter Dylan getting married and Bree looking like shes gotten hugely sucessful (and her son all business looking as well, oh and back with Orson).

I was a bit bemused by the 'five years later' bit - keep thinking the next season will open with a corny dream sequence or something. It just seems as though they're screwing it all around so there's gotta be a twist in it all somewhere and not quite what we're being led to believe! But yeah, I thought at first Susan was with Adam, but on second look I don't think it was.

i don't think it was katherine's husband, didn't see anything of him in the skip forward - i'd hope that he and her got back together cause he really went out on a limb for her. It didn't look like anyone I could recall seeing.
Bit different tho! they said they were going to do something that had never been done before and well they were sure right lol it'll either sink really fast or go really well, will be interesting to see which way it swings.

That was really odd.
So its not the end just yet then?
Something else I found strange was Gabby had Asian twins?? How did that work out considering neither her nor Carlos are Asian?

I got all confused and had a major WTF moment too 
Will be hanging out for the next season to get underway now.
Maybe the twins were adopted coz they also looked a bit old to have been conceived, born and to have grown that much all in 5 years?

Not necessarily asian. could have been latino. But definately older than 4 years which is about the oldest they could be if you factor in a pregnancy. DH heard (and who knows how reliable he is) that the next series goes back in time.

Yeah, in the flash-forward 5 yrs, when Susan got home & her husband greeted her, I felt sad it wasn't Mike. It looks like a guy quite a bit younger. And I still don't think that Lynettes boys would be old enough to drive - the twins maybe, but the younger (red-head one) wouldn't be the driving age. But then I guess that's why the cops were involved, underage driving?
Gaby did look the part being a mum, didn't she! Not so much make-up and dressed in more comfortable clothes, than tight outfits. Where was carlos though?
I guess all will be revealed next year!

Yeah was gonna say that cause some latino's look kind of asian. But true.. they do look a bit old.
I thought it was so strange that they jumped to 5 years!! I was like huh?

Eddie is out for now, though a come back hasn't been ruled in - she was ostracised by the rest of the ladies a few weeks back and I read in the TV guide that she was out for now...

Gabby can't have kids anymore after she fell down the stairs when pregnant in the second season. Her and Carlos used their house keeper as a sourgrat (sp) but the doctors implanted the wrong egg/sperm back.
