This is so not good

Thomas died this evening while I was at band . I noticed this afternoon that he was doing the same thing that Henry was doing yesterday so I figured that he was heading the same way. I put him in the shoe box and but some hay in there and some food, but he was all limp and not wanting to stand on his paws. Got home and he had passed away too.

I am quite angry at the pet shop for giving me very young guinea pigs and not giving me all the info on how to care for them.

I don't think we will get another one, we will just have the one that we got today, he is bigger and now I have been told how to care for them.

Andrew's knows about Thomas - I woke him up and told him - I felt he needed to know. He said that Thomas and Henry can be together again - very sweet

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

It makes you wonder if there is something wrong with their pigs, ie, an infection or disease???

Id change where you are getting them from as i know someone who had the same problem down here with rabbits. DPs mum is a guinea pig breader but i know very little about them. Check out i think the animates website tells you how to care for them

Yeah KA thats why I got 2 to begin with. I found out that the person that sold them to us got in a lot of trouble for not giving us the right info. I rang them up today and spoke with the manager and I didn't do my nut like I thought I would. They gave us another one about the same age as the new one we got yesterday. They are both happy in their hutch now.
