I had my first cream egg tonight a tad early I know...
BUT I was highly disappointed. I reckon the chocolate is that palm oil crap.
What do you guys reckon?

I see them every day (numerous times infact) at the 4 square across the road. I have been so tempted many times but as long as I only take the money I need......." sorry kids no milk today, mums having a cream egg (or 3)" I am sure that would go down real well.
Oh and the other thing stopping me is I know if I buy one for myself, it will never just be mine. And then I would have to buy more and then have 2 girls going crazy on Chocolate, and I would hate to think what sort of mess they could cause with those things.
I'll let you enjoy that one for me

They are prob made with Palm oil, as they would hae made all the Easter Eggs for this year months ago before they changed it back.

My general chocolate craving is one reason why I do online shopping! Then I don't see them right in front of me and think 'one can't hurt'! In a weird way I am pleased that they don't taste as good any more - creme eggs are the devil!

I use to love love love them - but now I hate hate hate them!
They are disgusting!
I think they are made in the UK now, or going there - hopefully it means they are going there and they are going to be better!
Heres the link
Ew makes me sick thinking about it - they are seriously gross now.
Never ever thought the day would come where I said I hate cream eggs! Ever!
ETA the link on where everything is going to be made now.

I didn't even know they were doing that re the moving where they're made!!
Have to admit I definitely noticed the different taste of Minities that they mentioned in #4, so much that I don't want to buy them anymore!

The Creme Eggs on shelf are all brought in from the UK (not made in australia like previously). They are the UK style eggs which have a thicker inside.
Hubby is happy because its what he grew up with. They're too sweet for me.

hi all!!
I too had a creme egg the other day. well actually brought 2 (because i LOVE them) decided i'd be nice and give one to my DH.
I was sitting there watching tv and eating my creme egg and thinking "hmmmm WTF this doesn't taste very nice" needless to say i still ate the whole thing!! but am NOT impressed!
I actually mentioned that the creme egg tasted different to DH and he didn't seem to think so...
No more creme eggs for me this year.
Im glad im not the only one that was unimpressed with the creme eggs this year.

You know there is an upside to them tasting we don't eat them, so we don't spend the money & have the health side effects.

Can't say I've noticed TBH. But I do tend to stuff the thing in and swallow it before it has a chance to register properly.
The UK ones do taste different though. We were there just before Easter a couple of years ago and my god did I indulge. They had thousands of them in the shops. I bought heaps and heaps so I could bring them home but all but two of them only made it as far as Thailand.
Last year DH bought me 28 of them for Easter and because I was following a diet at the time I only allowed myself one a week and they lasted all the way to September. It was heaven
Booboo for the sake of keeping it friendly I'm pretending I was unable to read that giberish you wrote up there
