I remember you moaning about not showing yet Roksana...
Maya was 6.46kg at 4 mths. And only 7.12 at 9mths. Not a good grower. She went from the 95th at birth to the 3rd.
Plunket usually also go by Liz's nana's thing - double birth weight by 6 mths and triple it by 1 year. In saying that, Maya was not even double her birth weight at one year, and yet now she is a very healthy 16kg at 3.
The big thing is that she is not rapidly crossing percentiles. Plunket generally say that crossing 2 percentile lines (either going up or down) within a short time frame indicates that a baby is either gaining weight too quickly or not gaining enough.
Hannah sounds pretty healthy to me tho! What I wouldn't have given to have a chubby bubba when Maya was sick and losing weight at a rate of knots! Like the others have said, at least bigger babies have a bit of a reserve built up! My cousin's baby is a few weeks younger than Maya, and she was always a chub, then at 2 she got whooping cough and lost quite a bit of weight, but is still well within the normal range as she had a good store there to start with.
