it is a hard one to work out, the hair loss, sounds like a few things can affect it even without the hormones going wonky. Like low minerals and things. Wonder if preg 2 sapped your levels of something?

3 pregnancies I have had, no doubt the boys have taken a lot from me, and I did get sick with both of them (had pre eclampsia both times).

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Yeah, PCOS seems to affect pretty much everything that involves all our society's ideals of femininity huh. It's horrible.

i have been ttc for 18 months. been diagnosed pcos in april. been on clomid for last 2 months. clomid seems to really mess up my cycle - last month 35 days now af here at day 28. really thought this month had worked until today when spotting increased plus cramps and bloating. i know i only get one more month of clomid before go onto injections. not sure what i want to know except maybe some positive encouragement - sick of feeling sad and like my body is failing me...

oh jh35 that is hard, hugs to you hun . PCOS is bad enough without all the extra medicating etc that can happen as well.

Did you go straight onto Clom first thing? I got put on Metformin to see if that worked before going on Clom. Met works a bit more gently (on insulin receptiveness in your body) and I know that my body feels a little bit more reliable than it did, and I have been preggie since starting Met. Clom has definitely worked for other people I know.

Bodies can definitely fail us but they can also heal amazingly, don't lose hope

thanks yes i went straight onto clomid. i think i just assumed it would work and can't believe it hasn't. oh well, hopefully this month it will. The doctor at fertility associates didn't give options but he seemed to think we had a good chance with clomid. will go back to him if this month doesn't work and see what the next step is.

the other thing is i have gained 10 kilos since i went off the pill 18 months ago. i wonder if this is having an impact, but don't really want to try too hard to lose weight while ttc...not sure what the best thing to do is

I found Met helped me with weight control. After a year or so off BCP and with stressy long-hours job I found I put on weight so easily. But even a couple months on Met seemed to get my metabolism working better again.

Oh my god, I'm so sorry! There's no feeling worse than feeling your hair starts falling off as a woman. You definitely need more supplements in your life.

Sorry for chiming in to this thread so late, but I used to dread taking showers all the time. Now I don't mind.

This is my story and some of my best advice which I hope is going to be of much help.

I'm a woman in her 50's and I didn't give much thought to my sprouting gray hairs and my hair loss in my 30's during my first pregnancy because they were virtually undetectable; however, as my patch turned into a streak, I began to question whether or not I should address them although it was the last thing I wanted to do...

Should I color them? Should I stick to natural hairstyles where they'd go unnoticed? I was really on the fence, yet I didn't feel particularly rushed to conceal my grays...

I'm glad there are finally solutions out there for doing something about it that actually work!

This is a daily hair growth supplement that quite quickly helped me and my bestie to improve our hair and stop our hair loss with a few important but natural ingredients.

It wasn't until we found it we were able to make our hair stop falling off as fast although it doesn't stop completely!

I finally feel a lot more confident in my hair!

Wishing you the best of luck in your journey, sis.

Hope my advice was of help to you <3
