To be honest it's only really travelling out of america that it is normally an issue, standard practise in the US is to have a notorised letter of authorisation if only one parent is travelling with a child...it's nuts but has to be done.

Nope have never been asked. But have had the checkin person comment a couple of times about Maya and I having different last names. With the gremlins I guess they figure I'd be mad to kidnap two such feral creatures!

ummm following on from pumpkin issue I would suggest taking a copy of latest order and birth cert would be approp just in case....

and im on interpol listing for work anyways so often get a nod and wink when travelling but not willing to risk it with child not in my name....UGH!
