Yes I put "TMI" in the topic to warn you I'm gonna use the word... mucous. Eeeeew. Now I don't think many things are TMI, but I just really don't like that word!
So Ella is a spiller. She spills after every feed, and not just after them either, she likes to spill her way through the day, and we go through a LOT of bibs. Of course, sometimes it's the plain milk spill - nothing gross. Other times it's lovely (not) curdled milk, and some of the time it just smells like vomit. Some of her spews are mucousy - the curdley ones. What I don't get, is how she has mucous in her belly when she's not sick!! Where on earth does it come from? Also... and again, TMI - her poo's have become a bit mucousy too. Is this normal for a fully breastfed 15-week old? Apart from Eczema she's absolutely fine, so I really don't think she's ill. But it puzzles me. And it's not stringey-like milk coming up either (I express once a day and the milk's pretty normal-looking)... she spilled/vomited over my lovely satin gown (again) this morning and I hate to say it but that gave me a really good looksey at just what was coming out. Not pretty!
