I'm not sure if my girl is starting teething, or if her signs are just a phase that all 4 month old babies do???

She is dribbling HEAPS and chews her fingers almost constantly.
Her day sleeps have turned to custard (only about 30-40 mins at a time).
She has had really runny poo the last 2 days.

Has anyone had a similar experience???

My beautiful 2 girls...nearly 4 and 13 months

Did you find that it disrupted her night time sleeping much?? My friend has had a nightmare with her son...

Also, isn't 4 months a bit early for teething???

Nope some kids are born with teeth I cut my first two teeth right before 4 months, fortunately my kids so far have not cut teeth until 8 months

Some babies find cutting teeth very painful, very disruptive, etc... while other babies have no problems whatsoever and mum and dad get surprised when the tooth pops through! But it sounds like you have the classic signs on your hands, the sleeping can probably be helped with Bonjela. Be aware that there's a growth spurt around this age too.

Thomas has 2 bottom teeth and still has alot of very pooey naps, is grizzly too so Im wondering if he is getting his top ones .... the messy naps and the grizzling seem to have gotten worse since the 2 bottom ones appeared. I thought it would get better once they had cut through?

Ohhh we had that happen around then, but Amelia's first tooth has just arrived in the past week. Soooo ... could be teeth, could be teeth moving around or it could just be a wee stage. I was convinced Amelia was trying to drop her morning sleep, but she came 'right' after about a month or so ... you just gotta go with the flow *sigh*
