I'm pretty sure it's a stage that they go through at that age. Hannah used to do it to and it drove me round the bend.

I just tried to ignore her mostly, but did growl her some times when my tolerance levels were right down. Seemed to make her squeal more so tried to be more tolerant!

She doesn't seem to squeal now... so hopefully Alan will grow out of it soon?

Sorry that I'm not much help

jack still does it!! yesterday i went shopping for some clothes for myself and everytime i got into a change room he'd squeal and laugh obnoxiously at himself in the mirror!
very embarrassing as you can imagine at this time of year the shops were chokka and it was so loud! i got so angry at him but couldn't really do much about it in the middle of a shop
sorry i'm not much help either, just hang in there, it'll be over when he discovers another new noise he can make

Hi there my boys do it still now and then when they are goofing around and laughing. I just ignored them unless im was having a bad day and like nikki, would tend to growl. I know it can be really annoying and grating on the nerves but i guess they are just learning what their vocal chords are capable of lol
Just thinking about them doing it in the shops. I used to get really embarrassed too but now i dont really care i would rather hear squeals and laughter then howling and screaming lol

My wee nephew used to do that too - I thought it was cute, but in hindsight I think my brother and SIL may have had other ideas He just stopped doing it one day out of the blue.
