They are pricey. A train is usually about $12 at K mart (so more at Toy World). And the sets you are looking at about $80 for each of them.

You can get a starter set from Flybuys.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

and Kmart quite often has 20% off them, we have alot of the engines and the roundhouse and wash thing

New World actually has cheap sets - cheaper than toyworld! I'll post a pic later as we have two sets and a load of engines

my boy has an extensive collection of the diecast thomas set and the battery ones!

We usually buy his from newworld and they range from $10-$12 and the sets start at aprox. $20 and you can buy the grey track in packs. When you buy a diecast train it has a pamphlet with it that has ALL the trains and sets available

From 2+ Andrew has been interested in Thomas.
