My niece has a lazy eye and now wears the cutest little glasses. Her gp said it was nothing but then the health visitor (UK equivalent of Plunket) said it needed to be seen straight away and got her a specialist visit the same week. Bloody doctors. We paid to see a doctor privately and I think it was money well spent, if hospital appt doesn't go how you would like PM me and I will give you the details of the doc that we saw.
thanks cuppatea, i'm not holding out any hope of this dr doing anything for jack at all. last year when we went she said it was a cosmetic thing that will get better in time.....12mths later it hasn't changed. i think it's a lazy eye but i'm no dr!
